Chunilal Pavara

Born on July 1, 1997, to farm laborers Shivalal and Garibai, Chunilal grew up with two brothers and two sisters, overcoming numerous challenges. Despite financial hardships, he completed his education up to the 10th standard at the Ashram School in Waghadi, where he developed a passion for Kabaddi, encouraged by his parents. Rather than allowing poverty to hinder his ambitions, he dedicated himself to mastering the sport, participating in various prestigious state and national competitions that showcased his impressive skills. While pursuing his education, Chunilal also earned a D. Pharm. degree from R. C. Patel Pharmacy College. His talent in Kabaddi not only brought him recognition but also made his family and community proud on a national level.

In 2017, Chunilal played for the Gujarat Warriors in "Just Kabaddi Season 4," leading his team to victory with his exceptional performance. His success attracted the attention of renowned coaches, and in 2018, he joined the Delhi Dabang team in "Just Kabaddi Season 5," where he contributed to their gold medal win. These achievements paved the way for his entry into the Pro Kabaddi League.

The stadium is situated approximately 2.9 kilometers from downtown Dhule, making it easily accessible to residents and visitors alike.As part of Dhule's growing infrastructure, the stadium contributes to the city's reputation as an emerging center for sports and recreation. Dhule itself is strategically located at the junction of three national highways (NH-3, NH-6, and NH-211), enhancing its connectivity and making it a favorable location for hosting events.

Healthy Sports Academy, located in Abhay Nagar, Dhule, is a multi-sport training facility that offers professional coaching in various sports, including basketball, football, cricket, and skating. The academy is situated at Plot No. 21, near Om Critical Hospital, making it accessible to the local residents. In the Dhule district, the practice of yoga and fitness has gained significant traction, particularly through institutions like Yoga Vidya Dham, which operates in both Shirpur and Dhule. The Shirpur center offers a yoga diploma course and a Master of Arts in Yoga through an open university, promoting health awareness among the community. Vyankatesh Sports and Art Festival

The Vyankatesh Sports and Art Festival in Dhule is a vibrant celebration that showcases the athletic and artistic talents of the region. Founded by Karmaveer Venkatarao Tanaji Randhir, the founder of Kisan Vidya Prasarak Sanstha (KVPS), this festival aims to highlight the artistic qualities of rural areas. Originally centered in Boradi, the festival has attracted athletes from various schools and open categories, with participants coming from different parts of the Dhule district.

The festival features a diverse range of sports, including Kabaddi, Kho-Kho, running races, relays, badminton, volleyball, and football, alongside cultural performances such as singing and dancing. Athletes who excel in these competitions are honored with certificates and badges, fostering a spirit of achievement and recognition. Additionally, the Kisan Talent Search Exam has been integrated into the festival for several years, rewarding top performers in various categories with cash prizes, badges, and certificates.

Organized by the KVPS educational trust, the Vyankatesh Sports and Art Festival serves as motivation for students to showcase and develop their talents. It includes both indoor and outdoor games, with all KVPS schools participating in the event. The festival spans three days, with the first two days dedicated to sports and competitions, while the final day features prize distribution, dance performances, and speeches from the organization and trustees. The schools that win the most awards are also recognized with a trophy, further encouraging healthy competition and participation in sports and arts within the community.
