APMC Market / Krushi Utpanna Bazaar

One of the most significant agricultural markets in Jalna and Marathwada, the APMC Market is strategically located near the Samruddhi Highway, ensuring excellent connectivity. Spread across 130 acres, it facilitates trade in a wide range of agricultural commodities, including fruits, vegetables, lentils, grains, jaggery, cotton, and silk. Trading is conducted through a bidding system, where farmers deposit their produce with trading companies that display it for auction. The final price is determined through competitive bidding, with traders earning a commission on successful transactions.

The market also houses a district silk office and a recently inaugurated silk market. Farmers from neighbouring districts bring their silk produce here, with prices determined based on the Ramnagar market in Karnataka. Since this market is government-operated, no commissions are levied on transactions.
