Buldhana district, with its headquarters located in Buldhana town, is organized into two police subdivisions: Buldhana Sub-Division and Khamgaon Sub-Division, each managed from its respective headquarters. Each subdivision is overseen by a Sub-Divisional Police Officer (SDPO), who is responsible for all crime-related activities within their jurisdiction. This includes visiting the scenes of serious offenses as per established protocols and ensuring the efficiency and discipline of police personnel.

The district comprises 22 police stations and 6 outposts, which include 5 taluka police stations and 17 rural police stations. The Buldhana Sub-Division contains 11 police stations located in Buldhana, Chikhli, Dhad, Amdapur, Andhera, Deulgaon Raja, Mehkar, Lonar, Janephal, Kingaon Raja, and Sakharkheda, along with 3 outposts at Deulgaon Mahi, Dongaon, and Sakharkheda. Similarly, the Khamgaon Sub-Division also has 11 police stations, situated in Khamgaon, Malkapur, Borakhedi, Dhamangaon, Nandura, Jalgaon, Pimpalgaon Raja, Hiwar Kheda, Shegaon, Jalamb, and Tamgaon, with 3 outposts at Chandurbiswa, Wadnerbholji, and Paturda. The taluka police stations include Jalgaon, Khamgaon, Mehkar, Malkapur, and Chikhli, while the remaining are rural police stations. Typically, a Sub-Inspector of police is in charge of each police station.
